YouTube has officially launched Ask Studio, an AI-powered creative partner integrated directly into the YouTube Studio dashboard. Designed to help you spend less time digging through data and more time filming, this tool uses your specific channel and video data to provide tailored insights.

• What it does: You can ask it to summarize your channel's performance, uncover common themes in your comment section, or even generate new video ideas your audience will love.
• How to find it: It is currently available to most creators globally on web browsers; look for the Ask Studio ✨ icon in the top corner of your Studio.
• The Goal: It functions as a personalized assistant that understands your "vibe" and audience better than a generic AI tool.
• Rollout: YouTube's documentation suggests its world-wide, so it's likely it will start showing up on a greater number of channels soon.

🎥 High-Quality AI Video for Everyone: Google Vids & Veo 3.1

Google is significantly lowering the barrier to high-quality video production with major updates to Google Vids. The app now integrates Veo 3.1, allowing anyone with a Google account to generate cinematic video clips from simple text prompts or photos.

• Free for all: Personal accounts now receive 10 free video generations every single month.
• Direct to YouTube: You can now skip the download/upload dance by publishing your finished projects directly to YouTube as private videos for review.
• New Tools: A new Chrome extension lets you record your screen and yourself from anywhere on the web, bringing Vids' studio features directly into your browser.
• Power Users: AI Pro and Ultra subscribers can also generate custom music with Lyria 3 and direct fully customizable AI avatars to interact with props in a scene.

❤️ Community Management at Scale: "Comments to Heart"

Acknowledging positive feedback is a full-time job for high-volume channels, but a new feature called Comments to Heart is here to help. This AI-driven tool identifies comments that deserve a "heart" and allows you to acknowledge them all at once.

• Studio Mobile: This feature is rolling out to all creators this week specifically on the Studio mobile app.

Doug’s Take: mass hearting seems a little impersonal, but taking a closer look it does appear that it presents you with a selection of comments that seem "heart-worthy" and, if happy, heart them all at once. You can still just heart individual comments from the selection.

• Monetization Expansion: "Gifts" and "Jewels" for vertical live streams are launching in more markets, offering fans new ways to tip creators.
• Brand Deal Boost: Creators who share "Channel Insights" in Studio settings are appearing 60% more in brand search results.
• Effect Maker Update: YouTube's web-based AR tool is expanding, now allowing creators to build simple AI video effects with open prompts.
• CEO on AI Slop: In a recent interview, CEO Neal Mohan vowed that YouTube won't be overrun with "AI slop," emphasizing that human authenticity remains the platform's core.
